Once you click the closed checkbook image, your starting register is created. The register reflects all your bank-cleared transactions since your last statement ending date, along with all future-dated bill payments and transfers scheduled over the next 30 days. Your starting Balance is based on your last statement ending balance.
The Register Balance reflects both outstanding transaction entries you made to the Register (such as checks written and not yet cashed), as well as cleared items (such as bill payments and transfers made through Internet Banking) since your last statement ending date.
The Bank Balance reflects all transaction entries that have cleared. You can reconcile these balances by reviewing items that have cleared and those that remain outstanding from your last statement balance.
