Once You're Approved...

• HSBC's approval is granted at our current Personal Secured loan interest rates reflecting the NYSERDA requirement for collateral on this loan. Additional NYSERDA documents must be completed to establish eligibility for the Energy $mart^SM rate reduction.

• Energy $mart^SM forms may be downloaded here. Adobe Acrobat Reader or Microsoft Word is required to view and print these forms.
  Locate the "Borrower Package" to download the entire package at once, or select from the four sections below it which provide a choice of files to download. If choosing the individual files, please be sure to download all four files located under the borrower package. Return all completed paperwork to your local branch.

• Returning completed NYSERDA paperwork:
  • Branch applications: return your paperwork to the branch at which you applied.
  • Phone or Web applications: mail the completed documents to us at the following address:

• If the loan does not meet the requirements for the rate reduction from NYSERDA the loan from HSBC may still be obtained at the current market rate
• If only part of the loan meets the requirements for the rate reduction from NYSERDA you may apply for a second loan for the non qualifying amount.
