For Fall 2003 weve enhanced our program again by introducing a new catalog with even more exciting choices. In our program youll still find traditional retail partners like The Home Depot ®, Macys, The Gap and Old Navy, plus favorite restaurant chains like Red Lobster and Olive Garden. But weve also added new partners such as Dell to offer discounts on state-of-the-art computer equipment, high value merchandise like Sony Camcorders and DVD systems while weve kept travel favorites like round-trip airline tickets and car rental discounts. You can also redeem points for valuable savings on HSBC services, including discounts on mortgage closing costs and finance charge refunds on your HSBC credit card. In all we have over 50 rewards choices.

As an enrolled HSBC Credit Card Rewards member you earn one point for every dollar in new net purchases posted to your HSBC Credit Card. After you have accumulated a minimum of 4,000 points you can redeem for one of our exciting rewards.

Each month your billing statement will list how many points youve earned. You can also access your points online at our website us.hsbc.com or you can call our Rewards Program Headquarters at 1-800-944-0076.

There are several ways. Visit us online at us.hsbc.com, select Online Services, click Credit Card Rewards and Log-in. If youre an Internet Banking customer you can also click to Rewards straight from Internet Banking without needing an additional logon ID and password. Our online catalog is available 24/7. If you prefer you can call our Rewards Program Headquarters at 1-800-944-0076.

New Points do not expire until three (3) years after they are earned and will expire on a year-end basis. For example, points earned on purchases made in January 2003 will not expire until December 31, 2006.

Yes. Our entire online catalog is now available for review. Weve created a DEMO site that customers can login to and bring up all items and additional FAQs. To review this site proceed as follows:

• From us.hsbc.com select Online Services,
• Click Credit Card Rewards,
• Click "LOG-IN",
• Then click the Take a Tour DEMO button which will bring you into the John Tourist account where you can browse our online catalog by clicking Redeem Rewards.
